Yesterday we requested another 22 hours of the Field Generator related to the Violet Flame, so it seemed like a good time to briefly explain that idea for anyone unfamiliar with it.
The Violet Flame came into focus in the 1930s through the “I AM” movement, where Saint Germain is associated with the violet ray and the Violet Flame as a force for clearing undesirable conditions. If the human condition tends to hook us through repetition, pain, drama, and familiar suffering, then the Violet Flame represents the opposite impulse: not recycling the old pattern again, but asking that it be lifted, altered, and released.
And since many of us may be more addicted to the human condition than we realize, addiction is the form of stress we’re going to examine for the next few days.
In the United States, millions meet criteria for substance use disorder, and millions more show compulsive patterns around work, gambling, shopping, food, nicotine, phones, and other forms of self-soothing. In 2024, 16.8% of Americans age 12 and older, about 48.4 million people, had a past-year substance use disorder. A 2023 meta-analysis estimated workaholism at about 15.2% overall. A long-cited U.S. estimate for compulsive buying is 5.8% of adults. In 2024, 8% of American adults, nearly 20 million people, reported at least one indicator of problematic gambling behavior “many times” in the past year. And in 2024, 64% of Americans said they feel somewhat or very anxious when they do not have access to their phone. (Who, me?)
What that suggests is that addiction is not just about substances. It is often about repetition, attachment, compulsion, escape, and the attempt to soothe discomfort through something outside ourselves.
All this got me thinking about nutrition. We have a giant Sustenance Balancer scan list that I usually do not share because it can be overwhelming, but what if nutritional deficiency is one factor in stress related to various addictions? Interestingly, niacin deficiency was discussed very early in the history of Alcoholics Anonymous, which at least raises the question of whether nutrition has been more relevant all along than many people realize.
Based on today’s scan, the nutritional emphasis appears to be deep foundational depletion, nervous system and neurochemical imbalance, digestive-nutritional weakness, and a possible oral infection burden, with subconscious and spiritual stress running underneath it all.
Cocktails for today:
Root-level nutritional support
Clear subconscious negativity
And a thought: as we focus on clearing old patterns related to addiction in its many forms, could that be where freedom begins?
