Got off on a wild hunt today…because…I’m learning about strongholds.
I’d never really explored the term before, so naturally I am now reading a book, making protocols, and possibly heading down a rabbit hole.
But first, let’s get to the point regarding today’s scan.
We’re looking pretty good — strong metabolic vitality today!
Of course there’s some stress — we ARE in human bodies — but this is all subtle.
Physical — Inflammation + fluid/circulatory stagnation
Emotional — Unresolved hurt with defensive holding
Mental — Anxiety driven by anticipation and the need to control uncertainty
Spiritual — Resistance/surrender conflict; difficulty resting in trust
We also resonated with the startup scan — a collection of cocktails accumulated over the years that I periodically check to see whether anything is showing as a priority.
Today we resonated with:
Optimize Brainwave Regulation
and
Conscious Creation
Make a mental note of that second one.
Because suddenly it connects with this whole idea of strongholds.
But first, one more thing from the scan.
We also showed an energetic vitamin deficiency, so we’re taking the Dispenser.
And now back to the rabbit hole.
Have you ever wondered why some people simply cannot seem to change, even with the best intentions?
They may have habits, addictions, compulsions, relationship patterns, or ways of thinking that are literally making their lives — and sometimes the lives of those they love — miserable.
They may know exactly what they should do differently…and even have the necessary skills and resources.
But they just can’t seem to do it.
Why?
Well, a friend called last night after watching a documentary and asked whether I could create a protocol around something called:
STRONGHOLDS
In Christian teaching, a stronghold is often described as an entrenched pattern of thought, belief, deception, fear, or spiritual bondage that has gained unusual influence over a person’s life.
It is often interpreted through the language of spiritual warfare.
But even if that framework is not your particular cup of tea, there is another fascinating way to look at it.
What if a “stronghold” is simply a belief or conviction that has become so deeply embedded that the mind keeps returning to it automatically?
What if something happened — trauma, rejection, abandonment, humiliation, betrayal, repeated criticism, or some other painful experience — and the brain learned a protective pattern around it?
For example — and this is a big one:
I’m not lovable.
And once a belief like that becomes deeply established, what’s the impact on our cellular membranes- which Dr. Lipton referred to as "little antennas calling in our reality"
(I may not be expressing that exactly right, but you get the idea.)
So yes, we’re talking about the power of thoughts, words, and images — not to mention taking a little better care of our space suit, also known as the body.
But what happens when we already KNOW all this stuff…but don’t even give it a shot?
Or keep trying, but can never quite stick with anything?
What if the issue isn’t a lack of information, willpower, whatever-
That seems like something worth exploring.
And if you’re up to it, today you could just dowse in one word:
