Don’t know if any of you are familiar with Dr. Ben Carson’s life story.
In a nutshell, he and his older brother Curtis were raised by a loving—and apparently very wise—mother, Sonya Carson.
Sonya herself had only a third-grade education, but she understood something important about learning.
When her sons were struggling in school, she sharply limited their television time and made them READ—library books, complete with book reports.
Looks like it left a mark.
Both sons went on to successful professional careers. Ben Carson became a renowned pediatric neurosurgeon and later entered politics. Today he serves as National Advisor for Nutrition, Health, and Housing at the USDA and is involved with the Make America Healthy Again agenda.
His brother Curtis took the much quieter route—Carson himself has described him as becoming a rocket scientist.
BOOKS and PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY were major lessons in that household.
Which got me thinking about something Carson has emphasized for years:
What we INPUT into our minds matters.
Think about it.
What are we reading?
Watching?
Listening to?
How about our self-talk?
And this could be the most significant input of all:
What’s our BELIEF INPUT?
Which brings us to today’s energy work.
Some of you probably thought we were going to explore thoughts associated with various health issues.
Well…not exactly.
The thoughts matter.
But what got the thoughts going?
Could they be related to beliefs programmed in so long ago that we don’t even realize we’re living from them?
And what if there is another way of experiencing life that we’ve never even imagined?
So today the SRC ran a belief scan.
Here’s what came up:
Receiving feels vulnerable.
People cannot be trusted.
Peace means I am ignoring reality.
Well.
Those are some interesting inputs to be carrying around.
Who knows when or where they came from? The scan doesn’t tell us that.
But if those beliefs were operating underneath the surface, imagine the output.
And that brings us directly to today’s regular scan:
Primary pattern: Congestion • Suppression • Worry
Protective strategy: Bracing • Analyzing • Resisting • Enduring
Deeper longing: To feel alive, safe, free, connected and joyful again
Correction underway: Revival • Safe Joy • Emotional Movement
Energy priority: Nourish • Move • Regulate • Recover
Which makes today’s question rather interesting:
What are we continually inputting that creates the life we’re outputting?
And one more thing—
I’ve been doing a major overhaul and clean-up of the SRC cocktails.
Apparently, years ago I put a series of 31 consciousness scans into the SRC.
I had completely forgotten about them until last night.
Looks like it may be time to start working with them.
Here’s what came up today:
“I now become in my life what I want to experience in my world.”
Maybe a candidate for a dowse-in?

I have printed out…it’s all about inputs. After reading it twice. So easy to get overwhelmed by world events we forget that our thoughts, words, what we are digesting is so important. Well, I have had indigestion for years and am going on a new diet and start .manifesting. In love and gratitude, Karen
