MEET THE INSTALLERS
There may be no better way to talk about etheric implants than through a Fractal Fairy Tale.
So, just for fun, today let’s meet the opposition—and discover what happens when they choose the wrong Earthling.
Here goes…
The assignment should have been simple.
Enter through the fourth-dimensional service corridor, locate one reasonably distracted human, and install a standard-issue etheric implant along the Gallbladder meridian.
Just a typical day—
except, of course, there was no such thing as a day because there was no such thing as time.
These Earthlings lived inside an illusion, unaware that they were contestants in a vast reality game.
They were unbelievably equipped to win—
which was precisely why the etheric implants were necessary.
And remarkably effective.
The implant installers worked for the opposition.
There was Vex, the overconfident lead installer.
Quibble, the anxious technical specialist who read the instruments.
And Pip, the curious apprentice who kept asking dangerous questions.
Their employer:
The Department of Predictable Human Limitation.
The Department had already selected their subject.
Vex studied the available implant models.
“Perhaps the Unexplained Urge to Abandon Every Promising Plan Just Before It Begins to Work model,” he said.
“A dependable classic,” Quibble agreed.
Pip raised his hand.
“Why would anyone abandon something just when it begins working?”
Vex stared at him.
“You are new, aren’t you?”
“Yes,” replied Pip, “but I’m not stupid.”
He pointed toward the observation screen.
“Look. The implant didn’t go in.”
And that was exactly right.
Unfortunately, the crew had selected a member of the Daily Energy Group.
This was their first mistake.
Quibble pulled her image onto the etheric banner.
Frequency information was already being sent to her biofield.
Not medical information.
That would have been manageable.
This was energetic.
In came:
Iodine Intelligence
White Blood Cell Intelligence
Clear Divine Amnesia
Support Mitochondria
Forgiveness
Conscious Control of Imagination
Vex frowned at the control panel.
“Where is all this coming from?” he started to ask.
But before he could finish, the instruments began flashing again.
“What is she doing now?”
The woman placed her hand over her heart and said:
“I now seal my body, mind, spirit, and soul in Divine Light and order.”
They all froze.
“She has activated her inner technology,” Quibble whispered.
The implant began flashing.
A warning appeared across the control panel:
ACCESS DENIED: FIELD SEALED
Then things became even worse.
She began applying acupressure to her leg while repeating a strange word aloud.
Her neural pathways lit up across the observation screen.
“Is she saying ‘RELEASE’?” Pip asked.
“Yes,” Quibble whispered.
“Repeatedly?”
“Yes.”
The crew watched in horror as several previously reliable pathways of indecision began disappearing from the map.
Vex began pressing buttons.
“Reinforce the Fear of Making the Wrong Decision pathway!”
“It’s gone,” Quibble said.
“Activate Chronic Second-Guessing!”
“Fading rapidly.”
“What about Waiting for Everyone Else’s Approval?”
Quibble stared at the screen.
“Also gone.”
Pip leaned closer.
“What happens when all those pathways disappear?”
Nobody answered.
Then came the worst development of all.
A powerful combination of frequency information entered the field:
Gallbladder Meridian Clear Flow
The beings screamed.
The room shook.
Control panels sparked.
Warning signals flashed across every screen.
And then—
everything went dark.
