Today my mind keeps taking me to a Bible story.
Israel is in battle.
Moses is standing on a hill with the staff of God in his hand.
And, somehow, he gets a message…
MOSES, KEEP YOUR HANDS UP.
Hmmm…was Moses activating a little inner technology?
Was the story a lesson about the power in our hands?
All we know for sure is that when Moses held his hands up, Israel was winning.
When he lowered them, the enemy started winning.
Up: winning.
Down: losing.
No pressure, Moses.
At first, Moses probably looked a little ridiculous standing there with both arms in the air.
But after a while, when it became obvious that SOMETHING was happening, you can almost hear the people yelling:
“MOSES! ARMS UP!”
But here’s my favorite part.
Moses’s arms began to give out.
And nobody screamed:
TRY HARDER, MOSES.
YOU NEED MORE FAITH, MOSES.
Instead, Aaron and Hur brought him a stone to sit on, stood on either side of him, and held his arms up for him.
And Israel won.
I’m sharing this because the story keeps popping into my mind.
And maybe there’s a reason.
As far as today’s work:
I went in twice to balance the chakras, and the same four were out of sync both times:
Root — Anchoring
8 — Blessing / Blessing Self and Others
10 — Destiny / Destiny Fulfilled
11 — Actionizing / Creator / Creating
As far as yesterday’s work, these stressors still seem to need attention, so they remain our focus today:
Heat
Fluid-circulation deficiency
Calcification
And our gift…!
Ability to draw things toward you
We didn’t resonate with any other scans.
But another thought-
What if some of the things that sound crazy to us simply aren’t understood?
Galileo challenged ideas that ran directly against accepted thinking in his time.
There wasn’t much support- instead he was condemned.
Today he’s called one of the fathers of modern science.
So…
Back to those hands.
One thing that comes up repeatedly in our scans is HEAT.
And there happens to be a traditional hand position, or mudra, related to this.
APANA MUDRA
Touch the tip of the thumb to the tips of the middle and ring fingers, keeping the index and little fingers comfortably extended.
Rest the hands on the thighs or lap, palms upward.
Hold gently for about 5–15 minutes, breathing slowly and comfortably.
There’s plenty more information online if you want to explore it.
Do I know this is going to work?
Nope.
But maybe a few of us can support one another in giving it a shot.
So here goes-
HANDS UP, HEAT DOWN
