We’ve been exploring the work of Dr. Sue Morter and her idea that transformation happens when we stop living entirely from what’s happening “outside” and begin reconnecting with the deeper Self within the body.
Some of it is so thought-provoking that I was about to write another Fractal Fairy Tale…
…until I realized Greek mythology has already covered it.
Remember the story of Theseus and the Labyrinth?
Theseus has to enter an enormous maze and face the Minotaur.
The problem isn’t only getting IN.
It’s getting back OUT.
So Ariadne gives him a thread.
He anchors one end at the entrance and carries the thread with him as he travels deeper and deeper into the maze.
Hmmm… Anchor Points?
No matter how twisted the path becomes…
…he remains connected to the way home.
What if this is a perfect metaphor for what Dr. Morter has been talking about?
What if…
ARIADNE’S THREAD = OUR CONNECTION TO THE CORE SELF?
Morter teaches that we can become so externally referenced — so caught in what is happening around us and in the narrative of what has happened to us — that we lose contact with the deeper center — our POWER — inside.
Maybe the problem begins when we drop the thread.
When everything outside of us becomes too real.
And maybe that’s one place technology such as the SRC can play a significant role in transformation:
helping us look at what may be happening in the inner/hidden world while we’re busy dealing with the outer one.
For example, today our scan appears to be asking for:
Less pressure (still)
More safety.
Better fluid and energy movement.
Deeper rest.
Mineral and nourishment support.
Relief from trauma-related bracing and emotional overload.
And again…
We’re asking for a spinal scan.
We’ve also identified, energetically, some wounds that are ready to be dealt with:
Isolation
Not being believed
Witnessing collapse
Being punished for truth
All being “de-stressed” today.
So enjoy your day.
If you need to make a few mistakes to further a few learning experiences…
…go right ahead.
Just don’t drop the thread.
