Many of us are grieving over what has happened in Texas. But alongside that sorrow, there is something equally troubling:
Some are celebrating the loss of human life simply because they believe the victims held different political views.
That kind of thinking—where people are no longer seen as fellow human beings but as “the enemy”—that dehumanization is a tragedy of its own.
In response, I turned to ChatGPT and asked for a prayer—one that could meet this moment with both grace and truth. It is now running energetically for all who have been impacted by this tragedy.
It is titled “To Whom It May Concern”—so that no soul is forced to receive what they are not ready for, and yet every heart open to healing can receive its support.
