We’re still running from yesterday, other than a refresher on the chakras.
There was significant stress related to the Sacral Chakra—#2 on the router.
The Sacral Chakra relates to FEELINGS—creativity, pleasure, sexuality, emotional flow, intimacy, adaptability, and the ability to receive and enjoy life.
Physically, it is traditionally associated with the lower abdomen and pelvic region, especially the reproductive organs.
And speaking of feelings, one thing left over from yesterday’s Evette Rose scan was:
“Trauma related to not being heard.”
With that, here’s the next episode of THE GREAT ROYAL RECALL.
THE SIGNAL THEY LOST
Barbelo sat beside the trapdoor.
Brayden had absolutely no intention of getting any closer.
But then her small dark body began to shimmer.
And suddenly, standing where the cat had been…
was a woman.
A Human woman.
The whole clearing went quiet.
Brayden stared.
He should have been terrified.
But instead…
something inside him hurt.
His chest tightened.
His eyes filled unexpectedly.
He knew her.
That was impossible.
Brayden whispered:
“Do I know you?”
Barbelo smiled.
“You did.”
Brayden stopped breathing.
Then she said:
“It’s time for you to meet Doc.”
“Doc?”
“A Human.”
Brayden stiffened.
Barbelo continued.
“And no, Brayden…
you are not the first donkey to stand in this clearing.”
She paused.
“Because donkeys were not always donkeys.”
They simply lost their signal.
Brayden stared at her.
“Your ancestors were Human.”
“A small number were never caught by Waldo’s spell.”
“Why?”
Barbelo smiled.
“They remained in resonance with unconditional love.”
She looked toward the trapdoor.
“And you’re about to find out what that feels like.”
Then she gestured toward a small metal sign almost hidden in the grass.
Brayden frowned.
“I’m not going over there.”
Barbelo simply looked at him.
And Brayden realized that yes…
apparently, he was going to do this.
Very slowly, he moved closer.
Reading had become something of a lost art among donkeys.
Technically, they were literate.
Practically speaking…
they might as well not have been.
Everything came through screens now—
usually repeated by someone else.
But Brayden leaned forward.
The sign read:
STRIKE THE FORK.
He stared at it.
Then at Barbelo.
“What fork?”
Barbelo turned her head toward the edge of the clearing.
Brayden followed her gaze.
Standing there was what he had assumed was a strange little metal tree.
Two tall prongs rose from a single stem.
Near the base, three numbers had been engraved into the metal:
528
Brayden looked at Barbelo.
Then back at the object.
“You mean that thing?”
Barbelo smiled.
“It isn’t a tree.”
“It’s a tuning fork.”
There was a small striker lying at its base.
Brayden approached carefully and picked it up awkwardly with his teeth.
For several seconds, he just stood there.
Everything about this seemed like a terrible idea.
But he exhaled…
and struck the fork.
TONE.
The sound rang through the clearing.
Brayden felt it throughout his body.
For a moment…
nothing happened.
Then—
CLICK.
Brayden froze.
Slowly…
very slowly…
he turned toward the trapdoor.
A thin line of light appeared around its edges.
The door lifted.
Below it was a flight of stairs disappearing into the earth.
Barbelo walked toward the opening.
Brayden remained frozen in place.
Then, against every sensible instinct he possessed…
he followed her.
Because…
he was a curious donkey.
